Forrest's Successful Football Season--'08

Wow! Forrest began his Tackle Football 'career' this year as a Monster 7 year old. He waited his whole life to play Organized Tackle Football and boy did he LOVE it. He played for the Roy B Team in the WFFL League as a Junior Mite--(7, 8 and a few 9 year olds) Of course Forrest was one of the Biggest on the team and one of the Youngest. This has been Forrest's lot in life since he was born. He's just a BIG kid!!! He weighed in at 85 pounds!

Forrest was the luckiest kid in the world because he had AMAZING Coaches! Coach Olson was his Head Coach. Then Coach Kenedy, Coach Parkin, Coach Smith and Coach Lamb. Every one of them played a role in helping Forrest be his BEST.

One of the Greatest things about this Season was that his team was UNDEFEATED for the whole Season!!! They played in an End-of-Season Tournament where they won all the way up to the Championship game. Unfortunately they were out of their League when they came up against the other Championship Team. But our boys did AWESOME and we couldn't be more proud! Thanks Forrest for all the excitment and Parental Pride the whole season long.

The WHOLE Ewing Family...

There are some who will understand my need to live with God's Creatures. It is the way I was made and THANKFULLY my daughter Ashley carries on my love of animals. The Boys in our home could do just fine without ANY pets. Maybe ONE...as long as it didn't shed, poop or pee, make noise, or demand attention. My sharp imagination has not yet come up with such a pet, so if anyone has thoughts, I'd love to hear them!

I'm listing photos of our (my) pets because they are just as much a part of the Ewing Family as anyone. They offer a richer, happier life (in MY heart anyway). I simply don't feel complete unless I am sharing my life with an animal. Sometimes it would be nice if I wasn't wired that way--it can be a daunting task at times.

I'm grateful to my Sweet Husband who understands this about me and accepts that it is who I am. He generously shares his home (and wife) with these beautiful creatures and I love him forever for it!!! THANKS BABE!

On to new adventures!..

Hi to Family and Friends!

I MUST give due credit to my incredibly smart, talented and thoughtful Sister-in-Law, Kim Knight. It is all her fault that I am spreading the Ewing Craziness all over the Web--hee hee. I have always wanted to "Blog" but just wasn't sure how to get started. Kim held my hand, made sure my 'binkey' didn't fall out of my mouth and guided me through the first steps. THANK YOU KIM--I LOVE YOU!

Look forward to pics, updates of the Ewing life, and feeling more connected (the best part). As I get better at this, I'll try and make it more fun!
Love you All

SUMMER'S HERE! :) We've had some nice weather and just look at the fun. :)

Forrest and Ashley put their hard-earned money together to buy this cool 'Splash Bomb' water toy. Good for them! What a cool trick Forrest! hee hee

Ashley and her new 'TOY'. We all know how long Blow-up toys last....let's hope it's long enough!

**FINISHED! FINISHED! FINISHED!**

**FINISHED! FINISHED! FINISHED!**
It took me three weeks to complete and I couldn't be more proud! When I realize I applied 10 layers of either stain or paint and this after sanding every nook and cranny by hand--it's by far the hardest home improvement project I've ever attempted. :) Yaaaaaaaaaaa for doing it right. It looks even better in person. :)

About Me

My photo
Life is Awesome! I grew up in Apple Valley California with 2 brothers and 2 sisters--the best in the world. I married my Knight in Shining Armor and Blessed Him with Three Perfect Children--hee hee. We are a Military Family so we've traveled the world (mostly) and we have friends from all over the globe. We never take our families (including extended) for Granted since we've never been able to live close until now--2007-08. (And by close I mean a 10 hour drive) :) I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and because of it I've been richly blessed and loved. There is no better life than one with a Testimony of the Savior and my relationship to Him--to KNOW who I really am, where I came from and where I'm headed. Peace of the Soul is Priceless. I've been on Both sides--I KNOW the difference.
