I'm so blue! We have snow AGAIN here in Utah. I do love the snow and I feel like we didn't get the BIG storms this year like we did last--BUT--It's Spring! I'm itchin' to get my hands dirty in my yard, clean out our Garage, have a Garage Sale, Do some landscaping in our Back Yard and None of this will happen until our weather starts Cooperating.
Now if I were a Skiier, which I'm not, then I might feel differently like thousands in Utah are feeling. Anyway,..thought I'd share the Beautiful side of Snow in Utah with a photo. Nothing much, but it shows how Spring is already here whether Snow falls or not. :)
Hope you're all enjoying Fabulous weather so you can send some of it our way! :)

SUMMER'S HERE! :) We've had some nice weather and just look at the fun. :)
Forrest and Ashley put their hard-earned money together to buy this cool 'Splash Bomb' water toy. Good for them! What a cool trick Forrest! hee hee
Ashley and her new 'TOY'. We all know how long Blow-up toys last....let's hope it's long enough!
Forrest had his FIRST Pinewood Derby last night. :) He was so proud of his car--he won two races.

**FINISHED! FINISHED! FINISHED!**
It took me three weeks to complete and I couldn't be more proud! When I realize I applied 10 layers of either stain or paint and this after sanding every nook and cranny by hand--it's by far the hardest home improvement project I've ever attempted. :) Yaaaaaaaaaaa for doing it right. It looks even better in person. :)
A DIFFERENT VIEW...
How the top Banister looks from my Bedroom. :) A million times better than the plain oak.
LOOK WHAT I DID! :) I was tired of this "blank" spot on our Entertainment Center so I fixed it!
I bought all the leaves, branches and Copper Container at our Thai Pan Trading Store and put it all together. :)
**STILL SLOW GOING BUT STILL GOING! HEE HEE**
Yes, it's been two and a half weeks but everything is going great. I'm putting on the THIRD coat of white on the top Banister so I'm ALMOST done up there!!! Coat ONE is here on this Banister--MUCH easier and faster!!! Whew!
**UPDATE** Slow Going--but GOING!!!
I've stained the Rail and Primed the Uprights. I've begun my first coat of paint on the far right uprights--about 5 of them.
Ashley helped me Sand this one so I got started with the Staining--whew!
BEGINNING A VERY BIG PROJECT!!!
I started Sanding ALL of the Banister--took longer than I thought it would--doesn't any good thing?
HAVE NOT STARTED ON THIS ONE YET....
Started Saturday--this far Monday--EVERYTHING Sanded--Top rail Stained w/ TWO coats of DARK WALNUT.
In the middle of Priming for Paint--not even half way there and the hardest rails yet to do!!!
Up Close and Personal--Sure is Pretty...

About Me

- Janelle
- Life is Awesome! I grew up in Apple Valley California with 2 brothers and 2 sisters--the best in the world. I married my Knight in Shining Armor and Blessed Him with Three Perfect Children--hee hee. We are a Military Family so we've traveled the world (mostly) and we have friends from all over the globe. We never take our families (including extended) for Granted since we've never been able to live close until now--2007-08. (And by close I mean a 10 hour drive) :) I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and because of it I've been richly blessed and loved. There is no better life than one with a Testimony of the Savior and my relationship to Him--to KNOW who I really am, where I came from and where I'm headed. Peace of the Soul is Priceless. I've been on Both sides--I KNOW the difference.
